I have actually been there many times in my life and these last 12 months proved to be one of “those” times with my step-dad passing away, finishing my masters degree, my son getting married, stressing about hitting my sales goals at work and just a few other things sprinkled in there! Let me just say, there were many days I felt like I had hit rock bottom. I had no more to give and didn’t know where to turn.
Like I mentioned, this wasn’t my first experience with anxiety and overwhelm. Anyone who knows me well, knows I like to keep myself busy and often bring on these situations myself. Over the years I tried many different strategies to cope but some of them weren’t so helpful or even healthy.
